Here are new volunteers helping us to prepare for the Ulverston Open Gardens next weekend by painting a giant poster and weeding the Butterfly Mound. In addition to opening all our grounds, including the kitchen garden and orchard, we are running an Organic Methods Gardening Course, hosting a junior and senior running event, inviting a local band to play in the kitchen garden and organising a Poetry in the Park afternoon!
We also introduced our faithful papier mache sheepdog to his farmer scarecrow owner!!
